COUNCIL APPROVAL OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE HENDERSON SPORTS FIELD LIGHTING PROJECT AT HENDERSON FIELD
The motion to approve City Consent Calendar Item 8B carried 5-0 as follows: AYES: Conway, Hamlow, Clifford, Herman, Tessitor; NOES: None; ABSENT: None.

APRIL 28, 2003 (Special)
Removal of lighting at Goddard and Sandburg from the Parks Master Plan.  Motion was made by Councilmember Herman and seconded by Councilmember Tessitor to remove the issue of permanent lighting at the Goddard and Sandburg football fields from the Parks Master Plan.

The motion carried 4-0 as follows: AYES: Conway, Hamlow, Herman,Tessitor; NOES: None; ABSENT: Clifford.

NOVEMBER 19, 2002 - Rates and Fees
The biggest cost is for Sports Park lights and that cost is not recovered with the current fee schedule.

Councilmember Hamlow said there has been no community support for lights at Goddard and Sandburg Schools...

Chairman of the Community Services Commission, reported that the Commission recommended that Council continue to support the addition of sports lighted facilities

Public Comment Period - Many residents spoke in opposition to lighting the sports fields at Goddard and Sandburg Schools

FEBRUARY 11, 2003 Glendora City Council Meeting
A Glendora resident, expressed concern that copies of the Glendora Municipal Code are not available for public review. He urged the City to put the Glendora Municipal Code online. [Online Here]

FEBRUARY 13, 2003 (Special)
The City has moved in a number of directions and has met with resistance regarding lighting of sports fields in other areas. The Louie Pompei Park is an isolated area and it would work for the residents and the sports community.
 

FEBRUARY 25, 2003 City Clerk Jo Ann Sharp reported that based on new election law Council will meet on March 18, 2003 to adopt the resolution declaring the results of the March 4th election. At that time the new Councilmembers will be sworn in.

MARCH 11, 2003
Councilmember Clifford, Hamlow, Herman,  and Mayor Pro Tem Conway expressed appreciation to voters for the turnout on Election Day and for the results.
